Project titled "Chemical ecology of the banana weevil: Identification, synthesis and testing of attractants for the banana weevil, Cosmopolites sordidus (Germar), in dead banana leaves"
Dr Mumuni ABUDULAI, CSIR Savannah Agricultural Research Institute Started in February 2006 to work at ICIPE, Kenya, for two months then with Dr Sam Cook (Plant and Invertebrate Ecology Department). Project titled "Use of plant induction techniques in push-pull pest control strategies"
Dr Bernasko K AMOAH Started in July 1998 for 24 months with Dr Huw Jones and Dr Pilar Barcelo (Biochemistry and Physiology). Project titled "Development of agrobacterium-mediated transformation in wheat".
