Fellowship for 12 months from June 2010 with Dr Mike Birkett and Dr Sarah Dewhirst (Biological Chemistry Department). Project titled "Identification of aphid-derived elicitors affecting plant performance".

Dr Poluru PADMAJA, National Research Centre for Sorghum, Hyderabad
Started a 6 month Fellowship in March 2010 with Dr Toby Bruce (Biological Chemistry Department). Project titled "The role of plant volatiles and leaf surface waxes in imparting resistance to shoot fly, 'Atherigona soccata' (Rondani) in sorghum".

Dr Kamel CHARAABI, Faculté des Sciences de Tunis
Started a 6 month Fellowship in March 2010 with Dr Ian Denholm (Plant & Invertebrate Ecology). Project titled "Insecticide resistance and genetic structure of Myzus persicae (Hemiptera: Aphididae) in peach orchards and on potatoes in Tunisia".
