African Fellows Programme

Applications involved a two-stage process with first a pre-proposal, which could be submitted with or without the support of a European partner. Applicants who were successful at this stage were then invited to submit a full-proposal with their European partner.

Fellowships were awarded on a competitive basis as decided by an assessment panel. They were for periods of up to 6 months, depending on the nature of the project.
